How Much Does Therapy Cost?
We specialize in restoring intimacy, trust, and connection, one couple at a time.
Your relationship matters. When relationship and life challenges arise, you want help right away. But navigating therapist options, insurance rules and restrictions, and waitlists can be frustrating. At The Couples Counseling Center, we strive to make the choice easy and straightforward. We offer a free phone consultation, immediate scheduling, and evening hours so you can start improving your relationship right away.
Therapy is an investment in your well-being, your family, and your future happiness.
The emotional and practical costs of unresolved relationship issues are often hefty. Consider the costs of lost work time, strained parenting, stress-related health problems, uncertainty, and the potential for heartbreak. While therapy is an expense, it pales in comparison to the financial and emotional toll of a divorce, not to mention the immeasurable cost of a broken heart and life disruption.
Investing in high-quality therapy isn’t just about fixing problems; it’s about protecting your future and building a secure, happier relationship together.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why don't you accept my insurance?
- Limited Control over Your Care: Insurance companies often dictate the length of therapy, treatment approaches, and even diagnosis requirements. This can limit our ability to tailor therapy specifically to your needs and provide the most effective care possible.
- Administrative Burdens: Dealing with insurance paperwork and billing takes valuable time away from focusing on what matters most - you.
- Unpredictable Reimbursement: Insurance companies often reimburse therapists at below-market rates and unexpectedly change the rates, making it difficult to sustain a thriving practice and invest in specialized training.
- Privacy Concerns: Insurance companies may require access to sensitive personal information. We prioritize your privacy and only share information with your consent.
- Focus on Diagnosis: Insurance often requires a diagnosis of mental illness to cover therapy. This can be stigmatizing and doesn't always reflect the true nature of your relationship challenges.
Will my insurance reimburse me?
The best way to learn about your insurance coverage is to ask them. When you contact them, ask about:
- Does the policy cover mental health or behavior health services?
- What is the deductible for Out-of-Network care?
- What copays/coinsurance costs am I responsible for?
- Are there any exclusions related to diagnosis?
- Do they reimburse for couples therapy (if applicable)?
- What is the process to submit a claim?
How do we get started?
